The Little Tikes Wooden 4 in 1 Study Fort Loft Bed lifts the single bed off the floor and builds a whole activity zone around it. Underneath, a lower platform works as a homework desk or a spare bed for sleepovers, so the room works harder without feeling cramped.

Climb, chill and store

Kids can reach the loft bed by a sturdy wooden ladder or the fun climbing wall. On the side, the suspended Chill Net makes a cosy spot for reading, chatting or gaming. The back of the climbing wall has handy shelves for books, toys and bedtime bits.

Made from cedar wood

The frame is made from Chinese cedar wood, which is naturally resistant to pests and rot. Full-length rails run around the elevated sleeping area, and the design suits children from primary school through to their early teens.

Planning and setup

The bed measures 254cm wide, 198cm long and 195.5cm high, so check your ceiling height before ordering. It takes a standard UK single mattress up to 16cm thick, sold separately. It arrives in three packages with all hardware included, and two adults should allow around 10 hours to build it. Wipe the wood with a soft dry cloth and re-tighten fixings from time to time.
