A Rug with a Second Life

This chindi rug is crafted from recycled materials sourced from the fashion industry, turning offcuts into a characterful piece for your home. Its woven, textured surface brings a relaxed, boho feel to the floor and a lovely sense of craftsmanship to everyday spaces.

Unique Character in Every Piece

The blend is 86% recycled leather, with 6% cotton, 4% polyester and 4% other fibres. Because each rug is made from recycled materials, the shade may vary slightly from the images, so your rug will be one of a kind. Choose the warm Sand/Beige mix or the cool Blue/Grey mix to suit your room.

Small Rug, Many Uses

At 60 x 90cm, it is ideal as a statement doormat, a soft landing beside the bed or a small accent rug in the kitchen, hallway, bathroom or living room. It is an easy way to add colour and texture to a corner that needs a little something.

Made to Last

Double side hemming gives neat, durable edges that help the rug hold its shape with everyday use, making it a practical choice for busier spots around the home. It also makes a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves sustainable style.

Warm, easy-going taupe

The Bravich California Taupe Shaggy Rug brings relaxed, natural warmth to your home. Its rich taupe shade is wonderfully versatile and works with all kinds of decor, from modern to traditional. Lay it in the living room or bedroom for an instant layer of comfort.

Thick, soft and made to last

The 50mm deep pile is dense and plush, so every step feels cushioned and warm. It is machine made from 100% polypropylene and designed for long-lasting wear, even in busy family rooms and hallways. The fibres are non-shedding, so the rug stays looking full without leaving fluff on your floors.

Practical for everyday life

Stain resistant fibres make everyday spills easier to manage, and colourfast dyes help the colour resist fading. The natural hessian backing is suitable for underfloor heating. On smooth floors such as wood or tile, add a rug gripper underneath to help keep it in place.

A size and shape for every space

Choose a 60 x 110cm rug for beside the bed or a doorway, a 60 x 230cm runner for the hall, or larger sizes up to 300 x 400cm to anchor a living room. The 120cm and 150cm circles look lovely under a round table or in a reading corner.

Caring for your rug

Vacuum weekly on a low setting with a suction-only attachment, working in the direction of the fibres. Shake it outdoors now and then, rotate it every few months for even wear, and blot any spills straight away with a mild detergent.

Where It Works

Lay it in front of the sofa to define a seating area, beside the bed for a soft first step in the morning, or along a hallway as a runner. It also works nicely in a study, dining room or reading corner.

A Size for Every Space

Warm, Mottled Rose Pink

This shaggy rug blends several tones of rose pink through the pile for a soft, mottled melange finish. The colour has lovely depth and is also more forgiving of everyday marks than a single solid shade. It brings instant warmth and a relaxed, boho feel to bedrooms, living rooms and hallways.

Thick, Cosy 40mm Pile

A dense 4cm shag pile feels plush with every step. It cushions footfall, helps soften noise in the room and adds a comforting layer of warmth over cold hard floors through the winter months.

Berclon Twist Polypropylene

The pile is 100% Berclon twist polypropylene, which holds its shape, resists crushing in high-traffic areas and does not shed fibres across your floor. The colour stays strong rather than fading over time, and polypropylene is naturally stain resistant, so most spills sit on the surface long enough to be lifted before soaking in.

A Size for Every Room

Six sizes cover everything from a bedside or kitchen rug to a large living room centrepiece. It also works well in a nursery, study, dining area, conservatory or on a landing. The jute hessian style backing suits hardwood, laminate, tile and carpet, and is safe to use over underfloor heating.

Caring for Your Rug

Vacuum regularly on suction only, with no beater bar, and spot clean spills promptly with a damp cloth. Do not bleach, allow to air dry only and keep away from heat sources.

A Rug with a Story

Chindi is the Hindi word for cotton offcuts, and that is exactly what this rug is made from. Skilled weavers in India handweave reclaimed cotton rags on traditional looms, turning fabric that would otherwise be thrown away into a bright, characterful multicoloured rug. Because each one is made individually, the mix of shades varies from rug to rug, so yours will be completely unique.

Colour and Texture for Every Room

The cheerful striped mix of colours lifts a living room, bedroom, kitchen or hallway and sits beautifully with boho, Scandi, rustic and farmhouse styling. Use a small size by the bed or back door, a long runner in the hallway, or a larger rug under the dining table or in a conservatory.

Practical, Washable Cotton

This is a flat woven rug with no pile and no backing, so there is nothing to trap dirt. The whole rug can go in the washing machine on a cool, gentle cycle, which makes it a brilliant choice for homes with children or pets. Double side hemming keeps the edges tidy, and the rug is fully reversible, so you can flip it over to even out wear.

Caring for Your Rug

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle and air dry flat. Avoid tumble drying and bleach. Colour shades vary slightly between pieces, which is all part of the charm of a handmade rug.

Deep, Cosy Comfort Underfoot

The Bravich California golden ochre shaggy rug is all about comfort. Its thick 5cm pile feels soft and plush with every step, and it adds warmth to hard floors through the colder months. Its rich golden ochre shade adds sun-kissed warmth and a touch of glamour to living rooms, bedrooms and hallways.

A Size and Shape for Every Room

Pick a small 60 x 110cm rug for beside the bed, a 60 x 230cm runner for the hallway, or go big with sizes up to 300 x 400cm for a spacious lounge. The 120cm and 150cm circles look lovely under a round dining table, in a reading nook or in a bedroom corner.

Made to Last

The dense, machine-made polypropylene pile is designed for long-lasting wear and holds its shape even in busy areas. It is non-shedding, so you won't find loose fibres across your floor, and colourfast dyes help the golden ochre colour resist fading.

Practical for Family Life

Polypropylene fibres are stain resistant, which makes everyday spills easier to handle. The natural jute hessian backing protects your floors and is suitable for use over underfloor heating. On smooth surfaces such as wood or tile, we recommend a carpet gripper to keep the rug in place.

Safari Style with Real Impact

A striking mirrored zebra print in bold black and cream, finished with a neat bordered edge, gives this Bravich runner an unapologetically eye-catching look. It is a daring, distinctive choice for maximalist, eclectic and contemporary homes, and turns an everyday staircase into a real talking point.

Made to Sit Flat on Every Step

The flexible hessian-style jute backing lets the runner drape naturally over each tread and riser, so it lies flush on straight and turned staircases without buckling or bunching. It feels soft yet hard-wearing underfoot and gently quietens footsteps on busy stairs. On wood, laminate or tile, add a rug gripper pad or stair rods to keep everything snug and secure.

Belgian Woven, UK Finished

Each runner is machine woven in Belgium from durable polypropylene, then hand cut and finished here in the UK with clean sewn edges. Choose one of the set lengths, or order the custom option by the foot for a runner cut to your exact staircase. Custom lengths are made to order, so they cannot be returned or exchanged, and our team is happy to help you measure up.

Practical for Hallways and Kitchens

At 60cm wide with a slim 9mm pile, it slips neatly under doors and suits narrow hallways, landings, entrances and the space in front of kitchen units. The fibres are stain resistant, moth resistant, water-repellent and non-static, and the runner is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which makes it a relaxed choice for homes with children and pets. Vacuum regularly and spot clean with warm water and a mild detergent.

Retro Floral Tile Style

A geometric floral tile pattern in soft blush pink, silver grey and charcoal draws on retro mid-century tile design, making a refined, eye-catching choice for modern, Scandi and boho homes. It adds warmth and character to a staircase, landing or long hallway, and the 60cm width suits most British stairs and corridors.

Made to Follow Every Step

The flexible hessian-style jute backing is what makes this a true stair runner. Rather than sitting stiffly like a rubber-backed mat, it drapes and bends naturally over each tread and riser, so it lies flush on straight and turned staircases alike. Fit it with stair rods or a gripper for a neat, tailored look.

Belgian Woven, Finished in the UK

Each runner is machine woven in Belgium from durable polypropylene, then hand cut and finished in the UK to the length you choose. The 9mm pile feels soft yet hard-wearing underfoot, and its low profile lets it sit beneath doors without catching. It is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, independently tested against more than 1,000 regulated substances.

Ready for Busy Homes

Stain resistant, moth resistant, water-repellent and non-static, it copes happily with family life, muddy paws and the daily dash out of the door. Use it in the hallway, kitchen or entrance as well as on the stairs. On smooth floors such as wood, laminate or tiles, add a rug gripper pad to keep it securely in place.

Choosing Your Length

Pick one of the set lengths from 120cm to 900cm, or choose the custom length option and order the exact number of feet you need. Custom runners are hand cut to order with sewn edges, and as they are made to your measurements they cannot be returned or exchanged.
